Best Poster Winner No. 2 Posted: 2 weeks ago by: Phil Kinnane | Add your comment | Using COMSOL Multiphysics for educational purposes is well described by the second winner of the Best Poster Award. This went to William Clark, from the Chemical Engineering Department at Worcester Polytech, MA. Using COMSOL, he was able to teach students about compressible flow, and to a certain extent, what it actually means in reality. Being able to compare simulation results with experimental results, students were brought that much closer to what would be expected of them when they enter the workforce. While the research and simulations used in development from the conference have been eye-opening, sometimes the educational uses of COMSOL Multiphysics are just as meaningful. Phil |
